Are You Ready For the Football!

Mothers' Monday Night Football is THIS MONDAY, August 18, 2014 @ 6:00 pm in the Bay High Library. Don't forget to bring your dessert and come prepared to have a GOOD TIME!!!! If babysitting is an issue: there will be players to watch/entertain the kids!!!!

Also, in lieu of having a "Meet the Team" dinner, since the team will be traveling to Houston, Texas for their first game of the season, it was suggested that we have a Team "Send-Off" dinner instead. Coach Longerbeam loved the idea therefore, we are moving forward with the planning. I have entered the event on our Volunteer Spot website. It will be a "POTLUCK" event, with the QB Club providing the meat. Below is information for you to sign-up what you will be bringing/donating to the event. Also, we need a few people to grill the hot dogs and hamburgers, people to help set-up, and a clean-up crew. The dishes on the website are merely suggestions. If you'd like to donate something different, send me an email and I can directly sign you up for that item. Please let's make this a "GREAT NIGHT" for the young men and coaches as they travel to Houston to take on Dickinson High School.

Second thing: The Team "Send-off" dinner will be on Wednesday, August 27th, starting at 6:30 pm. I apologize for NOT including this information in the email last night. It was a simple oversight on my part and not intentional at all!!!! On the sign-up list, I put different times for things to be brought/dropped off so drinks can be iced and we should have warmers, etc...to keep food warm for attendees.

Third thing: If you are planning on going to Texas, excluding those who have ALREADY turned in their money, Please shoot me a quick email confirming that you want to go. The price to ride the 15-passenger vans is $100 per person. The deadline is extended to August 25th. This includes transportation to and from Texas. The hotel rooms are all double bed rooms and they are $70. To make hotel reservations: Please call (800) 454-3213. It is booked under Alette Longerbeam/Bay Football.  Call the Super 8 hotel directly to make payment.  If you have any other questions or problems, please contact me.

Fourth thing: Spirit pack monies are DUE!!!! There is still time to get an appointment at Tri-County Community Council. They have grant money available to help! Just let me or coach know if you have made or are making an appointment for the grant.
